Digital Nomad PMP

I have worked since I was 16. I've had many jobs—some I enjoyed, some paid well, and some had great people. It wasn't until I discovered the project management profession that I found a passion and drive to make it my career.

I was blessed growing up with parents who introduced me to the world of travel and tourism. They called them family vacations.

While family vacations were fun most of the time, I learned how important and satisfying solo travel can be. There would be no itinerary, no alarm clocks, no have to's. I would rise when I wanted. Eat what I wanted, when I wanted, and where I wanted. It didn't matter that I was alone because my days were full of adventure, discovery, and peace. There was something new for my eyes to view every second of the day, and the world was my oyster. Until it was time for me to return to work, that is.

That's right, good old paid time-off (PTO). In my journey to become a project manager, I held many different positions and was never rich with PTO. As a working single mom, I would have to push that next adventure off until the kids were out of school or on a break. And even then, there was never quite enough money to travel.

It was then that I decided to combine my passion for travel and project management, working as a digital nomad. That's right, I am preparing to take this show on the road. If you are still here reading this, thank you for supporting my dream, and I cannot wait to show you how sweet it is!
